If you prefer not to bring a car, you can take a ferry from Zadar to Božava which is the closest port to Sakarun Beach. From Božava, a tourist train is available between Božava and Sakarun, providing a convenient option to reach the beach.

The journey takes approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes, and the ferry docks at the town of Brbinj on Dugi Otok. During the high season, there are more frequent departures to Brbinj, but ferry schedules may be less frequent during other times of the year.

It is also possible to reach Dugi Otok by air, as nearby airports like Zadar Airport (ZAD) are nearby. From Zadar, you can take the car ferry to Brbinj on Dugi Otok.
